Tender Mom Moments

If it is the moments that make up our lives, then I figured I need to document some of them.  Yes, my current job description is taxing and exhausting and very, very busy.  But there are so many sweet and funny moments that keep me happy.  Here's a few.
Hannah's drawing always put a smile on my face -- she added this to a friend's birthday gift.
A gift indeed -- going to throw messy diapers away early in the morning turns into a treat when there is a gorgeous sunrise.  This day's bonus included a sliver of a moon and the morning star (barely visible to the left of the moon).
High fashion is common around here, even with boys.  I thought an empty pretzel bucket would make a great holder for the peek-a-blocks.  My boys think it makes a great astronaut helmet.
How can I not smile with this cutie in my house?
Camden is very dramatic and makes some funny faces.  We think has a goofy personality like Uncle Michael (and we are happy to have it).  Camden is such a bright spot in our home.
My heart is warmed every time I see my little ones reading on their own.
Santa being pulled by his reindeer (Hannah set this up).
 Camden caught reading quietly.
All bundled up to go out in the snow.
 A funny Camden quirk.
Rosy pink after playing (and trying to ride a bike) in the snow.
Seeing a bald eagle in a tree right by our house.  Tyler had heard this eagle had set up camp in the neighborhood and offered $20 to the first person in the family to spot it.  He got to keep his money.

The boys in their "rocket ships".
This is how we often find Camden carrying his blankie around.
A quiet moment cuddling up to dad.  I love this!
 More high fashion.
I love to catch my sweet Camden playing quietly and happily.
Game time with my boys -- we resort to the counter top where it is hard(er) for Camden to put an end to the game.
Bubble fun in the bathtub.  It really is the simple things that are so wonderful!
Callie took the time to not just watch the boys but have fun with them.  They all got dressed up.
 Jacob the baker.
 Drew the cowboy.
 Stick 'em up!
Taking a break from making dinner, homework, and practicing the piano to enjoy the sunset.
Wow.  (That was all we could say, was wow.)
I LOVE to tuck Camden in and see him happily settle in with a book.  And if you've never heard him singing Baby Beluga, then you are missing out on some sweet times.
Never fails to make us smile or laugh, seeing how much Camden LOVES to pet his brother once he dons the puppy costume.  Cracks us up!
Once again, I found a reader.  Is there anything sweeter?
Most precious to me as a mother is seeing the love between siblings of various gender & ages.  They are all so different and they have plenty of disputes but they love each other.  What more could I want?
