Math on the First Day of School

 

The First Day of School Fall 2011 for us means...
3 excited all-day students
3 different schools
1 mom-bus back in circulation
a 30 minute loop this morning since there is lag time between the elementary school starting times - we'll remember to bring a book or 2 tomorrow)
2 boys still at home
1 sad preschooler whose neighborhood co-op has not yet begun
1 mother heart praying hard over her little kiddies who are away at school on the big first day
10 toenails painted on the mom -- my first time all summer long that I've had the time to do that!!!

Hooray for an A+ kind of day!

I guess when you are the fifth child you have to be able to stand out a bit.  Camden holds his own just fine in a family of performers.  That expressive face & telling eyes say it all.  This little guy is so much fun to have around!
