Everybody loves Emmie

Everybody loves Emmie, and it's no wonder.  We adore those bright eyes and how she crinkles her forehead to keep them open.
She's not much bigger than a peanut and is so sweet to snuggle.
Love the super soft baby skin and silky hair!
It's fun when she's awake and looking around - Emmie with Grandma
A coveted job is feeding her a bottle -

as you can see (although Mom does it 95% of the time).
She sure catches on tighter to her Dad's heart when she wraps her arms around his arm.  He's a genius with the football hold.
 "We love Emmie, Mom."
 Our biggest & littlest.

Drew's Got Talent!

My young Drew has some fun talents emerging.  It's amazing how well he keeps himself entertained with cardboard, scissors and tape and paper in constructive ways.  Often he knows what he is going to do and what materials he needs before what he is working on has taken on any recognizable shape which shows to me that he can picture things well and has a plan and vision.  Great skills!
This plane was created from a cardboard box.  Drew cut it up and pieced it together with tape.
Teddy bear gone Buzz Lightyear.  The cape was made from a mini pillow case.   So resourceful!

Drew wanted to make a rocket and asked specifically for a tube from a paper towel roll.

Love you, creator-Drew!

Decipher This

Jacob did an assignment in the computer lab this winter where he typed in his favorite things and a program scrambled it all to create this:
I would like to know if anyone can decipher what "sosigkasrol" is -- I, unfortunately, had to ask.  Of course it makes complete sense and now the spelling just makes me laugh.  If anyone out there is clever enough to be able to figure it out, I will award you 6 Hannahdoodles cards of your choice:  wedding, baby, or thank you.

Here's a clue:  it completes the sentence "I like to eat..." and is his favorite dinner meal.

Little Emmie

Here's our little Emmie!
