These are the handsomest guys I know, sporting their after-church wear. And no, Tyler's eyes didn't close for the picture; he is trying to squeeze in a nap after an 11-hour day of church service.

Summer Hike
One of our to-do's this summer was to take a few hikes. When Grandma and Grandpa R were visiting we took to opportunity to do an easy hike up to a little waterfall. In the past, Emmie never liked riding in the backpack carrier so I didn't even try this time. That meant that Hannah and I took turns carrying her a lot of the way. The hike was steeper than I remembered and it was nice and refreshing for the kids to put their feet in the water at the end.

You can't tell by the few pictures I managed to snap with my camera, but we really enjoyed having Grandma along with us. I am terrible at taking pictures when grandparents are around! I did manage to take this while they were here:
Grandma brought us Great-Grandpa R's typewriter - such a treasure!

Watch Out!
Camden came into the house the other day and announced that his booby trap was all set up.

I feel much safer now. Consider yourselves warned.
