O Boy(s)!

The other day the boys' mischief centered around words ending in "o".  Camden figured out how to open the armoire.  He thought it was really funny to turn the stereo up really loud.  After doing this five or six times he realized that he could also have some video fun, since opening up the cabinet afforded him plenty of VHS and DVDs to pull out.

When I answered a knock at the door the bigger boys were happily (and safely) entertained, so I visited awhile and even helped carry some things out to a car.  I came back in to find Jacob and Drew sitting at the counter covered in Oreo crumbs.  They polished off 1+ tubes but had the sense to at least accompany it with milk.  It was just about lunchtime, after all.  Somehow Jacob was covered in crumbs: elbows, face, shirt.  The counter top had its fair share, too.  They were awfully pleased with themselves.
Sticking with the "o" theme but on a more positive note, my boys are impressive oatmeal monsters.  It is truly a pleasure to watch them eat (something healthy) with hearty appetites.  They also rival Little Brave Sambo when it comes to eating pancakes, but that doesn't fit the post's theme.
Jacob prefers eating his oatmeal with frozen blueberries.

Drew ate THREE bowlfuls on this day.  He also colored all over his face and markers are no longer an easily available item at our house.
