Do you recognize this man? Maybe his shirt gives it away - when he had to be in disguise for the youth activity at Smith's Marketplace his attire was a bit grungier. The boys got busted when he knocked on the door - in disguise - AND THEY ANSWERED IT. Tyler feels like he lost his opportunity to grab one of them and scare the wits out of them. They haven't opened up to strangers since. And trust me, we had a lot of those showing up to work on our house.
An accidental matching one Sunday - and a rare time sitting down together!
Can you tell that I think this guy is pretty great?
My little dolly did this a lot this spring: the train table is a great way to get a better view of the backyard.
Look who can sport pigtails now.
And get in to trouble if doors are left open.
The stairs continue to be fantastic entertainment for the boys in our family. Drew and Camden are both stuffed into one bathrobe.
I can't even remember the story behind this, but it's typical of life in our home with teen/tween kitchen helpers. And typical of Camden-man that leave partially eaten fruit on countertops.
For the record, I also found pictures from the camera that documented Jacob's upset stomach incident that occurred while Callie was babysitting for us one night, but I won't share those. She wanted to make sure that we saw how she cleaned up the puke off the kitchen floor, hallway rug, bathroom, and herself. She is a trooper, and she doesn't think much will phase her when she becomes a mother some far day away. She has dealt with tantrums, been puked on, cared for head wounds, blow-out diapers, and she does deserve a most wonderful big sister/oldest daughter badge!
