April - part 2

Hannah's Renaissance Fair:
After holding on to the pillory for 2 years she was finally able to make good use of it again.  Her group painted it to look tomato-smashed, it got used a lot, and then when we couldn't fit it back into our car we left it at the dumpster.  It served its purpose.
Modeling Maren's mustaches
 Our best baby eater...
who takes feeding herself very seriously.
By the way she played my ribs, I knew in the womb that Emmie was a pianist.  I am impressed that she already uses individual fingers on the keys.

A fort is a really cool place from which to watch a video for quiet time.

Drew made up his own culinary creation:  A graham cracker with butter, cinnamon sugar "sprinkles", and a few Reese's pieces.  He really enjoyed it and made it again a couple of times.

Can't get enough of our cute cute little girl!
Our basement went from this

 To this

And then we had this show up...
pretty cool to watch from your own front porch!
And your back yard once the wind picked up and they didn't want the large drywall boards to break.

And while the drywall was being installed our phone line went dead - for the second day in a row.  Trouble shooting through blown-in ceiling insulation can be a messy business that means a lot of work needs to be redone.  Kirk the electrician was patient and careful (as patient and careful as you can be when people are putting up drywall all around you and you have a major deadline) and he and I both did a lot of praying - finding this splice (from before the remodel) was nothing short of a miracle!!!
I had my own deadline - the drywall being put up meant that our wall of kids' measurements was going to be covered.  I found a cute inspiration on-line and here is a glimpse at how mine turned out.  Find instructions to make your own here or just go buy a vinyl one at Hobby Lobby for $6 - I discovered that one too late.
