Turkey Coma

After my own post-Thanksgiving dinner nap (induced by fatigue, not turkey since I couldn't eat any), I emerged from my room to find bodies passed out all over the place.

Some comas are induced by turkey, others by screen time.

The combination of too much fun and too much to do meant that I didn't take any other pictures during the three days of fun family time.  We loved visiting with our group of 19 (20 if you count our dog-nephew, Bentley).

My kids have the best cousins that love them and include them, but it can still be hard to be the littlest ones in a group.  Emmie was absolutely delighted when Bentley decided to climb into bed with her on their last night here.  Their little slumber party lasted about 30 minutes but it was sure sweet.

My fantastic husband is the best partner!  I loved that when I was too tired from cooking and hosting that he took over and made sure all things fun still happened - a crazy thankful game turned competition over pie, sports time at the park and up at the church's gym, and a youth temple visit one morning.  He even took a few pictures to boot!

The two beautiful ladies that set out and labeled all the pies (and made 3 of them):

Fuzzy Pictures of the Fun:

Ultimate, Soccer and Football at the park

Movies, games and pie day and night

I love that Angie is the only one in focus here - she was the Queen of Elimination

Lots o' Love

Proof that my husband is the best?  After the holiday was over and he returned to work he found a little message on the quote board at work:

Update:  yea for family that took pictures and shared!

Love, love, love being in a wonderful family!

This is Tyler - Have to say, this was heaven for me. Great food, people I love and adore, and we played ourselves silly. Can hardly wait for the Celestial realm - because that's what we'll do. Every. Single. DAY.
