A berry good crop

In case you were wondering, delicious is spelled
B-E-R-R-I-E-S
In the line-up here, from front to back we have a
killer blackberry
cone-shaped raspberry
marionberry
regular raspberry

The ruler is to remind us how very lucky we are that those blackberries really were about 1 1/2 inches big.  YUM!  And when you harvest a bowlful like this every other day...
 It is called HEAVEN.
We eat at least as much as makes it into the house.  Then we eat some more, and freeze whatever does not get consumed in an hour.  Because picking takes about an hour every other day, Tyler and I have both experienced closing our eyes on berry-picking days and seeing this.

I can't say I'm complaining.  And if you picture this and multiply it by 50 feet, you have an idea of the fun we are having.
Should you ever have a surplus of raspberries, try making these:
1 box dark chocolate brownie mix, baked with the "cake-like" directions.
Mix 1 cup raspberries and 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips into the batter.
Bake, cool, and freeze for 30 min.  Slice & garnish as desired.
