Five [children] in my family

Oh I've got five [children] in my family...do you know that song from vintage Sesame Street?  Except it was "five people in my family".  Well, for a couple weeks, anyway, we can sing about five children and then we'll have to come up with a new song.  Maybe "The Wheels on the Bus" to match the new vehicle we hope plan to buy (who talks about hoping to drive a 12 passenger van?!?)

As the family photographer I made a concerted effort to capture ALL of my kidlets on film last week since this is turning into a mostly-boy blog.

For Callie's night with Mom & Dad she chose to teach Tyler how to waltz.  Note:  Tyler is not a dancer.
Another note:  Callie is.  She looks fantastic when she shows us her ballroom moves.  Great posture, grace, you name it -- she is a natural!
We got some snow.  Hannah built a mini snowman family on the porch one afternoon.
It is just too much fun having this little boy around all the time.  He is even cuddlier than he looks; I had such a hard time resisting those big brown eyes poking out of the fuzzy blanket.
Can you believe I didn't pose anyone for this picture?  Truly, they did it all on their own.
Jacob's daily reading assignments are enjoyed by his brothers.
Callie with her applique pillow from sewing class.
This little guy was just loving it up on Hannah while she was playing the piano the other day.  That is the best part of parenting:  when the kids are loving to each other.

What an adorable family! I wish we could be closer.

Mini snowmen! So cute. Tell me if Callie ever ends up on dancing with the stars so I can start watching...if you would let her go on...
