I've got a teen and a tween and I'm new at this parenting business for that stage.  Some days I feel like a candidate for a battered shelter because my emotions take such a hit.  I hope my "guinea pigs" don't feel that way as well, but as I said I'm new at this and make plenty of mistakes...
