We are not strangers to laughter!

And this is why.  Drew Nibley is about the funniest kid you ever have met.  People tell me so all the time, and I'm going to prove it.  At stake conference yesterday, Suzanne sang in the choir, leaving me with the kiddos doomed to the pews, flying solo.  I took advantage of the situation and typed up notes on my lappy of everything  that Drew said.

And here are the things he said - mostly before the opening prayer.  (Then I gave him a stack of books, some Cheerios, and he was mostly quiet after that - except for when he spilled Cheerios all over the floor, or growled at the people behind us.)

"I see mommy.  I love mommy, and Daddy.  See that girl in
The pink dress?  She needs to cover up.  I can see her undies.  I see
Brother Finch.   [Opening song, hymnal] Dad, is this the page?  Dad, can I have some bubble gum?  I see that girl with a black dress, but I can't see her undies.  Hey dad - I see those horns!  [The organ].   Dad - there's Jesus over there!.Are we going to be on this page for a long long time? [in the hymnal]  [opening prayer] Hey - I see my teacher!  The one with the black hair.  I mean Sister Allred.  Dad, look!  Dad!  Are boys faster than girls swimming?  Or are girls faster than boys swimming.  I think boys are faster when they do this!  [hands clasped together - moving up and down really quickly].  Can I have a drink?  Now can I have a drink?   [burp]  Dad- that sounded like a horsey, huh?   Hey, I need a drink.  Here Hannah [handing her the hymnal].  Hold this with two hands.  …  Dad, I'm finished with this book.  [New book - Tithing] I love this book.  I need to go pee.  I need to go right now. [ Running down the stairs to go to the bathroom]  I'm going pee!!! WEEEE!!!  [Getting back to the bench, drew's having a hard time sitting down; I pull him by the back of his pants]  OH!  Jacob - Dad pulled my by my underwear!  Playing with the magnet board later - "Dad - look at my rocket!"  Dad - that man looks like Jesus!   Are there germs on me?  Am I getting sick?  L- L- Light.  H- h- h- Hannah.  Sh- sh- shark.  Can we do the moken-control games to do the games on tv?  I mean, not after this day but the next day.  When cousins are here then we can do it?"

I'm exhausted just reading that. And amused.
