Making Sugar Cookies:Hooray that this year the girls could decorate them, and they looked a lot better than when I do it. We decided that sprinkles are a must for the beautification factor, and I found that Ross is a great place to buy sprinkles for cheap. A great thing we did this year was bake all the cookies early and frost enough for the next few days. We froze the rest and pulled them out of the freezer when we were ready for more, and frosted as we ate. The frosting freezes well, too.

Someone is patiently waiting his turn at cutting out some cookies.
Waiting until 7am to wake up on Christmas morning: These guys are so cooperative! They let us sleep until a reasonable hour. I think the girls entertained the boys for awhile this year. At 7am they run to the top of the stairs and tell us it's time, and they are allowed down once the tree lights are on, the Christmas music is playing, and the video camera is on record.
New pajamas: Jacob was pretty happy to have matching pajamas for all of the boys this year. Santa even brought the mama some new zippy-looking pajama pants!
Acting out the Nativity: Five children makes for a pretty good cast. Following are a few of my favorite shots. I think my children are beautiful.

The picture of the boys being "afraid" is great! Thanks for sharing.
