I am a fan of The KonMari Method. I love the feeling of lightness that I feel after giving away things that no longer spark joy.
It didn't take long for me to figure out that the huge box containing my vacuum-sealed wedding dress was one of those things, so when Callie was home we opened it up, let her try it on, and after confirming that she would never want to wear it, I sent it on it's way where it will hopefully bring joy to someone else. In the meantime, we had a really fun afternoon. My favorite comment was, "Oh my gosh, it's true that you really do turn into your mom!" It fit her perfectly. If we look at the age I was when I wore this to get married, she is just 6 months younger.
She had to do her typical hippie pose.
And of course, she loves to show off her triple chin. Getting a serious picture of this girl is seriously challenging. She loves to be silly!
