In six months I am sure going to miss seeing these two snuggled up together during family scriptures.
On the 100th day of school, I sent this old man to kindergarten.
When left to her own devices, Miss Emmie likes to dig in the box of off-season clothes in her closet. She came up with this outfit on her own one day, under the supervision of Drew.
Puppy was getting a little hair trim before the boys had their turns.
A couple of smiles at our house are looking different these days. Here is one of them:
We took turns having the flu. Here Camden beat me at Battleship. Sweet Emmie lined up my boats for me right in a row. Camden hit one on his first try and only had 2 misses for the rest of the game. That's actually a great way to play if you are ADD.
Here's another smile sporting a new gap.
We find Jacob with his nose in a book a lot.
We are trying to be super savers. My Valentine did bring me flowers but my favorite Valentine was this one:
it made me smile when I got to the bottom of the pile of dishes. Very reminiscent of the time that I complained to Tyler about the soap scum in the shower about 15 years ago. The next time I got into the shower "I love Suzy" was etched into the soap scum. I left it there for awhile and I smiled every time I saw it.
We did do our traditional fondue Valentine's dinner on 1 day late to allow for improved health.
Hannah finished her portrait of cousin Alyssa for Honors Art.
For the record, she does not appreciate this angle of her picture being published.
Usually when we have a ring and run at our door it is for Callie. This time it was for me! I was so surprised and touched.
Lost transcripts were finally located and it's official:
So is the scholarship - 65% tuition for 2 years. Very impressive considering we didn't figure out she has ADD until she was almost a senior and school was quite a struggle for this brilliant mind.
The mom might be a little weepy these days but I am still excited for my wonderful, almost-grown-up girl.
Can you tell this little girl likes bathtimes? It's always more fun when you bring along your ponies and dollies.
Our very own Benjamin Franklin - gotta love the V-Store - pants & top were $1.99.
Kids flock around this man of mine.
He kinda likes this littlest one of ours.
Hannah still occasionally leaves gifts out for us.
This sweetie is entertained for hours by "doing the dishes". Usually a change of clothes is necessary at the end.
Jacob is such a conscientious scout. He keeps all of his cards and likes to sort through his stuff.
Jake's new awards/rank from his first Court of Honor as a New Scout.
I came home from choir practice and found these two doing their nails together on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Emmie adores her big sisters.
