Good Feelings

My diet has drastically changed, and since I am the chief chef in the household, the nature of what we keep in the pantry has changed, and grab-and-go foods are hard to come by.  It has been worth it to me because I feel good.  My family isn't quite on board yet.

All week I have made food as simple as possible to keep our staycation spring break authentic, so today when the kids wanted to have a picnic, I was at a loss for what to take for sandwiches.  We didn't have any bread or buns, but I did find some GF pita bread (thank you, Camilla!) and we had deli meat so I asked the kids if they were willing to try it.  I proceeded to take mustard/mayo  requests, when Drew eyes the pita bread suspiciously and says, with all the earnestness of someone trying to be in tune, "I don't have a good feeling about trying that."
